Frederick G. Volpicelli has been cooking since 1960 (almost 50 years. My cooking files comprise thousands of kitchen-tested recipes covering practically everything but baking cakes and pies (I always deferred to my ex-wife in that department). I take on cooking tasks as a true meditation. I concentrate on the recipe and prep everything in advance. Fine dice is just that, and knife skills are paramount. I am a certified food handler in Massachusetts and I cook monthly Friendship meals for 60-80 members of the First Congregational Church of Harwich.

People continually ask for my recipes, but not the way it's on the recipe card, but the way I actually make it. (I have a habit of not always following the recipe).

So this website is born to satisfy those requests. I'll post recipes here often, contact me if you have a favorite or a question. GOOD EATING EVERYONE!

"How he doth tempt us with a feast worthy of salivation! My unworthy tongue sings with joy each time the messenger, hard afoot, delivers an invitation from his hand. Even my chamber pot looks glad upon my buttox after an evening at his table."
William Shakespeare, from "The Food Haunteth"
